Admission

II PU Change of College:

All 10th grade students, opting for I PU in SIRMV, should apply for SET examination and appear on the designated date / timeslots. We conduct SET examinations on pre defined dates and usually on sundays.

After the students take SET exam, we announce the results in batches and call the parents to visit the college and take the admission.

SET examination is for 120 marks, where Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology carries 30 marks each respectively. The SET examination is conducted in SSLC board, CBSC board and ICSC board syllabus for the corresponding students.

SET examination is conducted in Shimoga, Davanagere and Ballari SIR MV locations. Students opting for any college, can write the exam in any of our locations.

There will be concessions/ scholarships given based on the scores they get in SET. If students score better in board exam than SET, which ever concession slab is higher, that will be considered. During the SET examinations, we conduct parents meeting and explain the details about concessions for that academic year.

Long Term

Long term admissions start immediately after the NEET examination key answers are out. SIRMV intakes limited number of Long term students based on their NEET examination scores. Both day Scholler and Hostel are available for Long term students

Crash Course

Students opting for crash course can call and enquire in the reception. We call back and inform the date of commencement of crash course, Fees etc. Hostel facility is available.

II PU Change of College: Students trying for admission of II PUC, will have to contact us. We will inform the students to appear for an entrance examination and selected students can get admission in to SIRMV.

For All PU courses First PU admission process starts in the month of November. The means of getting in to Sir M V is only by taking SET examination. The link for SET examination is provided in the home page. Contact college on the given phone number if you need more details.
